For those not familiar with Amazon's Gold Box or Lightning deals, let me elaborate. With the Gold Box stuff, every day Amazon has 1 deeply discounted item that stays cheap for 24 hours, or until they run out. Today it's a $.01 cell phone with a plan from AT&T. Lightning deals are items that are also heavily discounted, but only in a 4 hour window. They don't tell you what the item will be until the actual sale starts. You can see a countdown for the Lightning deals and see what category it will be in (as of right now it's Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 for $70, and the next 2 will be jewelry), but no hints about what the specific item will be.

Starting tonight at midnight PST (3 am EST), The Gold Box deal of the day (the 24 hour sale) will be a DS game. They don't say which one, of course, but if I had to guess I'd say there's a reason it's going on clearance. Although a lot of people think it will be Mario Kart DS because of the upcoming Wii game, so who knows.

At 6:00 am, the first lightning deal will start.

At 10:00 am, the next lighting deal will start and the first one will end.

Next deal is at 2:00 pm.

The last DS game lightning deal will be at 6:00 pm and go till 10:00 pm.
